It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Hi there Cabbott,

I am the maker of the Last Resort mod.

I am wondering if you got an incomplete download. The server that hosts some of my files seems to be acting up lately and cuts out the download before it is complete. You don't get an error...it just stops like it has completed downloading.

The size should be 134,399 KB (131 MB).

I will contact the host of my files. I may have to move them to a different location :(

As for Windows 10 I haven't been able to test it yet. I would love to hear from the community if someone does test it. With Windows 8 the only way to get the Last Resort Launcher to work properly was to run it in Windows 7 compatibility mode.

so....what do i need to do? thx ;)
Find where the "Last_Resort_Setup_v06.exe" got stored on your hard drive and examine the size of it. I personally prefer using Windows Explorer to examine files.

In previous versions of Windows you would find the downloads in this folder:

C:\Users\your_user_name\Downloads

You right click the file and view the properties to get the filesize.

The other way to find your downloads is to re-open your browser and there should be a link to the downloads folder in there.

Damn. Okay I will see about moving the file to a different host. I will let you know when I have done so.

Sorry about this.

No problem,thankyou.
Bye.
I sent an email to the website that is hosting the mod file and they haven't replied back yet.

I worked 12 hours Thursday out in the snow so I haven't had time to start looking for other possible hosts yet in case we can't solve the glitch.

Thanks for your patience.

Okay the file is now hosted at a different location.

This is the old version still. I am trying to put the final touches on a new version but it all depends how quickly I can figure out how to make it work better with Windows 8.1
thankyou but the problem persist :(
I mean only the menu lags
This sounds like a Windows problem and nothing to do with the mod. You will probably find that Swat 3 runs poorly with or without the mod.

I assume that Windows 10 works equally badly as Windows 8 with Swat 3.

Please try the workarounds found here (specially the Microsoft Compatibility Toolkit) and let us know if this helps:
