Guys I can't solve the 'dder_generic' problem I literally tried everything but I just can skip the intro phase with '-nointro' .When i try to enter career mode game crashes and gives 'dderr_generic' problem pls help.

You should provide more information about your system (hardware, OS, etc.) in order to get help.

Anyway, supposing that you are using Windows 10 or 11, read this guide about the error and try setting the game to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP.

Have you tried replacement movies that are re-encoded with a different codec?

When you say the game crashes in career mode I assume you mean after a mission a movie was triggered and crashed the game? This would make sense since the -nointro flag only skips the startup movies.

Worst case scenario, if I recall correctly with my experiments, you can rename the "mission" movies so that the game can't find them. It will skip over the movies after you fail a mission.
