Hey guys,
I have a version with a CD Disc and can't run setup. The installation can not be started. Nothing happens.
I already have windows 10 on my old Windows 7 worked.
Any suggestions?

You posted a while ago so not useful for you. Perhaps useful for someone else searching in the future.

I haven't tried re-installing Swat 3 from disk since I bought the GOG.com version. I do know that newer versions of Windows don't like the copy protection that was used on Swat 3. However as far as I know that would just prevent you from running the game not installing it.

The problem is only with running the installer
In Windows 7, the problem does not occur, the installation proceeds correctly.
In windows 10, I see only the 32-bit setup process in the task manager, but the installer does not start. This is happening with some older games that have THIS CONCRETE installer. Even older games install themselves with another type of installer correctly.
I need help how to run it. Can anyone check it for me?
Unfortunately, the GOG version has no support for my language, so I need to have CD versions

I just tried my North American disk of Swat 3 (original 1.0 release) and it is using Installshield. The installer seems to be working fine. I stopped it though at the part where it asks what directory you want to install the game to.

Yes

Was able to do a full install from disk and manually update the game using patches. Windows 10.

The game will not run though once installed without a replacement .exe that doesn't contain the copy protection.
