It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

First, load the game, and set all the options the way you like them. Set the resolution to 1024x768. Now exit the game and edit the file swat.cfg. The first line looks like this:
res=1024 768
Change it to your preferred resolution. Now look for this line:
display_mode=1024 768 2 1
Change this too to your preferred resolution.
Save, and launch the game. The game will switch to your widescreen res as soon as you begin active duty.

it's great for use during game play but all the menu screens are still pretend 640X480 ( witch in my screen you cant get to half of the buttons you need to get into a game )

sadly for me this is a dirty bandage and the game is still unplayable!
Thank you.
It doesn't work for me. I get to the menu, then after 2-3 seconds I drop to desktop (game is still running in the background). After switching back to the game, I drop to desktop after another 2-3 seconds.

I'm using dual monitor setup.

Any help?

edit: OK, I got it working!

1. Download Last Resort Mod from here: http://www.swat3lastresort.info/mod and install it.
2. Change properties of all swat_* files in your SWAT 3 folder: set Compatibility to Windows Vista (this is required - otherwise my game crashed after clicking "Education" or "Pre-Assault".
3. Use Last Resort Launcher to start the game with desired settings.

Tested on Windows 7 Home x64 - works!
