I downloaded gold edition outside of gog galaxy and got through the base SWAT 4 campaign alright, but after starting stetchkov incident I run into an error box every time on the equipment loadout screen. When I change anything on mine or my teams loadout my game freezes and an error window pops up saying "Failed to write (expansion location)/system/dynamicloadout.ini ." I had the same issue when making a campaign but for some reason when I exited and returned my campaign was created. I tried reinstalling, deleting both campaign.ini and dynamicloadout.ini. and made sure they were not read only as well. My game doesn't crash so I don't get an error code. What gives? What can I do to play the expansion? Game rocks.

This seems to be a permissions-related problem.

What directory you installed the game into? Is the game located in a restricted folder such as "Program Files"?
Do you run the game as administrator or as a normal user?

Directory is C:\GOG Games\SWAT 4

I ran into the same problem when running as admin but it's not in any other folders just on my drive.
