From what I understand the current norm for this game is making a shortcut and adding the "-nointro" flag to the game's shortcut to make it run properly.

Is there a way to somehow do this without a shortcut? I can't figure it out.

You can do it using GOG Galaxy if you don't want to create or modify any shortcuts directly.

In GOG Galaxy , when on the game page ,

Click on the MORE buttng and then select SETTINGS from the drop down list.

Check the box that says Add command line arguements then in the box underneath that checkbox just write

-nointro

Job done.
