When running through steam, it causes an error with an incomprehensible coding.

Debian GNU/Linux 9 (64-bit/amd64)

Could be multiple things, it could be issue with Steam-runtime, it could be the fact that debian stretch has mesa 13.0.4 in repositories and iirc it doesn't provide the required OpenGL 4.5.
I see it's in russian for you and sometimes locales are known to screw things up, You could try LC_ALL=C and see if it goes anywhere.
Most likely it's due to old Mesa or kernel version if you haven't upgraded those manually.
