Game plays fine when I go to the installation folder and launch it from there, but on Gog Galaxy the "play" button is greyed out and it says "installation broken". Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work. Neither did repairing the installation. Anybody knows how to fix this?

I'm having the same problem with Steam. Just a question: did you updated from Ubuntu 16.04 or 17.10 to 18.04 recently? I was on 17.10, everything was working fine, I moved to 18.04 and it broke Steam. :(
