So, I guess that the First Colony edition doesn't contain everything, despite letting think that it does, as has become customary with Paradox, their GAAK (Game As A Kit) policy and their purposedly ambiguous practices ?

Of course it doesn't, but I'm wondering which DLCs are missing. Betting on Below and Beyond, and Stellaris Dome Set... am I right ?

Not included in the First Colony Edition:

- Mysteries Resupply Pack (Free)
- Stellaris Dome Set
- In-Dome Buildings Pack
- Mars Lifestyle Radio
- Below and Beyond
Ah well, even worse than I thought...

Thanks for the info anyway !

To make matters worse, GOG removed "Surviving Mars: First Colony Edition" from the website, so those who own it can't read the store page and compare it to the other products to determine the current or future differences. Even worse, the GOG website shows that First Colony Edition owners also own Standard Edition (it shows as "In Library"), but not Digital Deluxe Edition (despite the fact that in my library, the game includes the "Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack" DLC file).
And it gets even worse.

Also not included:

- Martian Express
- Future Contemporary Cosmetic Pack
- Revelation Radio Pack

You can currently get those a bit cheaper in the - Surviving Mars: All New In Bundle

No Second Season Pass .... yet either, to grab what wasn't in the First Colony Edition.

Clearly we are being milked ... certainly at the prices so far.
Thank you for the summary of what's missing. After 4 years of having no gaming pc I started playing this great game again./ Got into it for 40 sols and started wondering when I would get technology to start building trains... I installed the 'show installed DLC' mod and saw to my surprise a lot of DLC missing.

I went back to the store and selected the digital deluxe version where I found a image stating the first colony edition with Season pass. I started getting unsure if GOG sold that one as the store doesn't shows it. Found it in my order history, bought the first colony edition which includes the season pass which was €.74,99 back then (I got in in sale though).

So yeah, I see we're getting ripped off. Weird way to keeping loyal customers / early bird buyers. Season pass basicly is marketing for "sounds like it includes everything but it doesn't".

For those looking for the comparison image of what the first colony edition did include, you can still find it on the digital deluxe edition store page.

I'm going to reconsider if I want to buy the DLC even though I already paid for it. Especially since I read a lot of negative reviews about the DLC.

Update: I found the original First Colony Edition store page on the web archive. You will have to look it up yourself since the url gets redirected to the real store page when I post the url here.. Apparently GOG doesn't wants us to share old copies of their store pages.

"Season Pass:
Includes two full expansions and two content packs to Surviving Mars in the months following launch"

In the developers defence: the store page clearly stated what the Season Pass includes It doesn't states that it gives access to all seasons of the game. In my opinion that makes the name Season Pass misleading...
