This seems a bit crazy? I just purchased this game for LAN gaming. But there is no option for playing? WTF? Is this genuinely the case? Can I get a refund? Quite frustrating.
You can play SupCom Gold via LAN, but SupCom 2 never had LAN option.

Supcom 2 had LAN option, but it was LAN over STEAM. So without Steam authentication LAN is disabled.

Is that really the case? I can't find any information for this game to actually support any kind of LAN. Only online option in Steam version.

I read a comment on the Supreme Commander Gold Edition page that made glowing support of the online multiplayer experience and community through Forged Alliance Forever (faforever.com) and it flooded back fond memories of Starcraft battlenet back in 1998. Hastily added to cart and checked-out. Opened browser tab to go to faforever to create an account, and in large font STEAM LINKING MANDATORY. Well that should be no problem, right? I can add the game to my Steam account with the key like I did with Elite Dangerous in the long long ago... Oh wait...

Steamdb shows Supreme Commander Gold Edition goes on sale...frequently...at 80% also ($2.59). Grabbing refund and adding Steam version to wish list. Wish it weren't so :(.

Oh Ill just wait for steam sale then.
I've gone this long without playing the game, I can continue going without playing it.

I'm going to wait for GOG or Square Enix to get their acts together.
high rated
Bullsh*t like that is the reason why Steam should have never been invented in the first place. It is beyond ridiculous that we have to fight issues like that in the year 2020.
use gameranger to play gog supcom online.

it works really good. hopefully one day GOG and FAF sort their shit out
AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!!

GOG/FAF finally work together

Forged Alliance Forever is AMAZING!!!!
