Hiya,
This is one of our Known Issues. It happens when characters are created on resolutions greater than the ones we currently support (largest currently supported is 1920 x 1080).
We'll be making changes to the UI soon and when we do we'll look at the final resolutions and aspect ratios that we are going to support for launch. regardless of whether or not we support resolutions over 1920 x 1080, we'll look at fixing this issue then.
