This game doesn't let me use my cabled xbox controller for player one. weirdly enough, it works for player 2, who is automatically selected. changing the control settings in the multiplayer settings, results in not being able to move the character at all.
Does anyone have similar problems?

Yep. Same problem. Can't find anything on-line about how to fix it.

Pour information : Le jeu detecte ma manette comme 3ème joueur. Il lance donc automatiquement les partie avec 3 joueurs. Un pour le clavier, un pour un joystick qui n'existe pas et un pour mon gamepad x-box obligatoirement en 3ème joueur.

Same here. The weird thing is that it sorta did detect the gamepad initially. That is, the first time I ran the game it didn't recognize the gamepad, but when I tried to configure it, it suddenly detected it. Then it sometimes detected it and sometimes didn't. Now it stopped detecting it completely, so I can't play anymore.
