Greetings,

I bought Sudeki from GOG a long time ago and I finally made up my mind to experience it and, as much as I want to love it, I experience two frustrating flaws which just ruin my enjoyment!

First, that accursed dumb camera who can't properly follow me and makes the mere task of seeing around me a pain to endure!
Indeed, whenever I move on the vertical axis, meaning I climb or descend a slope, a hill, a stair, the camera either enters inside the hill or stays in the heaven, it is stuck on its own horizontal axis and doesn't move with me on the vertical axis, it's as if I play a 3D game whose camera is stuck on a 2D plane, that makes it terribly annoying to play!

Second, that unfeasibly slow combo system!
Indeed, Sudeki asks me to perform combos to fight efficiently.
BUT! I can't just press quickly on the attack buttons to perform combos, I have to WAIT for the right time to press on the buttons, which makes it impossible while fighting enemies who are not willing to kindly wait for me to perform my slow combos to kill them!
Sudeki offers both melee and ranged fighting but attacking in melee is so slow that I take hits between my attacks, I can't chain attacks fast enough to prevent my opponents to hit me and I can't, for the love of me, perform one of those fabled combos because the enemies keep breaking them by hitting me in the middle of them!
So I stick with ranged fighters because they are a hell of a lot faster than melee fighters!

But I can't help but think that something is off here.
I mean, they wouldn't have released a game with such critical flaws, would they?
I tried to search on Internet about these issues which ruin my pleasure of playing Sudeki and while I did find someone else who talked about the same vertical axis stuck camera, people answered to them that they never experienced such camera issue in Sudeki and everyone praises Sudeki's combo gameplay so I guess only me am experiencing these issues?
But then why? Why is it that everyone enjoys a fun game whereas I'm experiencing a barely playable game?
Why is my camera not moving on the vertical axis and why is everyone praising the combo gameplay whereas I can't perform a combo fast enough to be broken by enemies' attacks?

Wow, I'm having a blast now with Sudeki!

First, the camera and the graphics.
I eventually found the answer.
It was my GPU who was forcing settings that apps, namely Sudeki, don't support.
Indeed, someone suggested me to set my NVidia control panel to let 3D apps manage themselves.
Doubtfully, I tried that anyway then I played Sudeki.
And that actually worked!
The camera now acts as it should, it no longer goes underground when I walk up and no longer flies to the moon when I walk down, it now follows me vertically diligently, problem solved!
Not only that, but the game even looks better now! Wow!
I wasn't even aware that there was any issue with the graphics, but there was, my GPU was forcing settings that the game doesn't support and that made the game suffer graphical downgrade that I wasn't even aware of, I noticed the change only after I set my GPU to let apps manage their settings themselves.
That's good to know, as I'm sure this will make a difference not only in Sudeki but in all games as well!
Makes me wonder what is even the point of this control panel if we better let apps manage their settings themselves...

Second, the combat!
When I wrote my previous message, I just started the game and I was finding it hard to enjoy the combat because of the reasons I explained.
That is, until my team formed after a long start alone...
Then that has changed everything!
When I started the game, I was all alone against the world!
Enemies surrounding me and ganging up on me whereas I was too slow to actually perform any of those fabled combos that the tutorial told me about, let alone dodge and block incoming hits, and this was frustrating, I told about it previously! >_<"
But I persevered and progressed through the game, until my team formed, and NOW things go differently!
Indeed, now that I am no more alone, all enemies don't focus exclusively on me, they scatter to attack each of us at the same time and that leaves far less enemies to deal with alone, moreover my team is not bad at dispatching enemies since I set everyone's AI to Attack and I got used to switch between my teammates to make use of their individual strengths efficiently, now the game is a lot more fun to play!

P.S: It was not only me, I actually found MANY players who experienced the same troubles that I did.

I would like to mark this message as solution to my own troubles but it seems that we can't mark our own answers so this question will remain open for all eternity!
