On mission 6 "RENDEZVOUS" where you are supposed to capture a rail bridge and then repair that bridge and then a bunch of other stuff... The game doesn't actually spawn a pioneer/engineer/maintenance vehicle at the start of the map, a similar looking vehicle that is just a transport is spawned, but no engineer, so you can't actually fix the bridge, not sure if you can still complete the mission. I have checked some videos on YT and they get a engineer at the start. I played it without cheating and then to see if it was just a one time bug, I tried to cheat to the same mission and yup, still no engineer.

I'm playing on the most recent (as far as I know) 2.2 version and if it matters I'm playing on recruit difficulty.
I do remember getting past this mission without issues as a kid, so pretty sure my cd version doesn't have this issue.

Is there anyway of fixing this? Is it only on my end?

Update:
You can at least complete the mission, and eventually you are sent more supply truck/pioneer/engineer/maintenance vehicles, which happened around the time when you get your troops to the southern airfield.
