It pops up with a message saying I need to install Visual C++ runtime. Tried installing every version of vcrun20XX. No luck. Tried a lot of other things, including directX 11, no luck.

Any ideas? Seems like a packaging/developer fix is needed.

I barely got the game working on Win7, so to me it doesn't seem like a good candidate for playing on Linux. I don't have any advice to offer, but if you do manage to get it to work, please post a message saying how you did it.

Works fine for me, using lutris-fshack-6.14-4 and with only vcrun2019 installed via winetricks.
