Apparently Subverse V0.4 with the Taron Update has been released yesterday on Steam.

I think it is a legitimate question to ask why the GOG Version is still at V0.3.201?

Apparently even the release trailer had higher priority than pushing the Update to GOG.

It's already on Galaxy, so don't blame the devs! Just wait until GOG is updating the offline installer!

If GOG is at fault, I said nothing. But actually I would be surprised if GOG creates the final install packages themselves and even manually.

The offline installers are created automatically on GOGs servers in most cases. For Subverse it takes some days for whatever reason.

This can't be automatic. It's Monday 7:00CET and still nothing done. There must be manual work involved.
Monday 19:20CET, now it's finally updated.
Sorry, was away yesterday - hence the late answer.

There's nothing really that the studio can do about the timing difference - once it is delivered it is up to GOG when they push it out.
