Hello, Subterrain is one of my favourite game, very similiar to Dead State and other zombie apocalypsa game.

Thanks the developer for this game and hope they will make this game better and better with every update :).

Some tips:
1. at beginning collect everything, especially electronic resin, you will need it a lot in later
2. try to get data chip as soon as possible (in day 9 you should have all data chip level 2 or some level 3)
3. kill all enemies in the level, it decrease global infection level and you get alien sample (resources for crafting)
4. my favourite weapon is SMG, because of rate of fire (some people prefer pistol = sniper or shotgun, but I dont like their speed, thats why SMG), but if you prefer power, then pistol or shotgun.
5. later in game, prefer collecting electronic resin, alien sample and gems. Because you will be limited by your backpack when you go deeper and deeper, so prefer those resources. Especially gems, you can refine/recycle to the high tier ore (lithium etc..)
6. Data chip - level 2 datachip - floor 4 - VikingSquare, Carson hotel, Spirit Plaza, Solar Casino
- level 3 datachip - floor 3 - Aries District, Gemini District, Pieces District, Leo District
- Level 4 datachip - Floor 9 - Aries District, Gemini District, Pieces District, Leo District
*so you can easily get datachip level 3, but i prefer go to get datachip 2, because of resources you get during the way and also kill a lot of enemies for lowering infection level and alien sample
7. Key to generator room - you can find it in Central Room in console
8. Keep global infection under 30%, if you leave it go higher, alien will attack your generator room in your base.
9. Dont eat or collect "possible contamined" food (snack bar, cerealie etc.) or drink water from tap, you can get infection. Prefer sealed food in bottle or can.

10. BUY THIS GAME, you wont regret it :)

Just want to tell that if you are under effect with some lowering West infection level pill, you can safely eat/drink some possibly infected stuff. The pill will negate the eventual +1 contamination debuff.

If you're new and interested to Subterrain: Ignore the "weak" rating by opencritic. It's just not accurate, a "Medium" rating would be the least and fair. Also it's not objective in my eyes; at least outdated or "picky". Check it yourself, there exist better and more reviews than the ones (six!) that have been considered (by AI?) to get this absolutely weak "Weak"! Not understandable; Subterrain is a great indie gem of a game.

Another tips:
-----------------

- Build and take all three main weapons everywhere with you - even to the toilet! ;) - don't rely on just one type, every one is perfect for certain situations and pretty useless in another...

- If you are a type of player who avoids melee fights (like me) then bandages and nano repair stuff are not often needed, therefore you don't need to produce a big stock of those.

- The most important resource which the mutants drop is their blood! Take all of it into your backpack.
If you go out of blood samples you can't produce any medi packs and decontamination pills and this means > DEATH!
(Edit: I was wrong, you can produce the basic medi pack version without blood. But not the upgraded medi packs and absolutely NO decontamination pills without blood samples)
- ... which leads me to this very logical tip: never save the game if you're highly contaminated and no pills are in sight ...

- Put a set of replacement weapons (the core parts are sufficient) into the trunk of the tram. Also medical stuff, another suit, oxygen canisters etc. > if your guns are broken and/or you're out of something important, you don't have to return to main base to load up. That way you are able to stay much longer in a complex, which spares you lots of valuable time - in game and RL! ;)
