Hi everyone, I'm interested in this game really because of one feature only: evolving enemies.

Are the enemies in this game actually evolving using a genetic algorithm or some other process of mutation, or are they just leveling up along a predictable path like most games which claim their enemies "evolve" ?

If anyone could answer this question, I'd really appreciate it.
