I would skip them anyway, so not a real issue for me, just reporting.

Edit: The "Submarine Titans\video\*.avi" play fine in my normal video player.

I had the same problem after installing K-lite codecs pack. The software installed a new set of LAV filters which messed with the game.

However, using the codec tweak tool and disabling LAV video/LAV audio/LAV splitter under the directshow (x86) tab solved the problem.

Hey thanks for this knutsmussen! I had the exact same problem and your solution fixed it for me, the videos play now. It always bothers me when simple things like this don't work--even if I usually skip the videos anyway.
