I keep coming across a wall with a button in the middle. If I press it, It opens up two wall panels. If press one of those, it opens more panels, etc. I can't figure it out.

Does anyone know what this is or what's in it?

I can do binary pattern search, but it takes a long time. Can someone give me hints on how to open it?

I'm late to the party but just in case some future person comes along. That is probably the puzzle for getting the relic for the level. Simply press the panels in the order indicated in the relic hint page left or right.
