So far enjoying the game despite some of the bugs..

How does one cast the spell: tongue of the dead?
Apparently it can be cast outside of combat, even when equipping it in the spell book quick spell, it doesn't seem possible.

Right click on corpses in the game allows you to select quick spell in the radial menu, but just takes you to the spell page.

It's really not obvious how this is done, really epic fail in my opinion.. I can't believe there is no menu or tutorial?

Don't tell me that the main character has to have the spell?

Currently the outsider is my spell caster, if he has the spell but i can't use it, that would seriously suck..

No replies? Wicked :)
Had it on my main character, could only cast it after slotting it into my quickspell slot from the grimoire and even then it only works on some corpses. Had to right click the corpse and choose the spell from the radial menu there. There's also some accuracy needed with your characters movement as you can't seemingly cast the spell by just being next to the corpse, need to get to that magical 1 pixel of ground for the game even think about allowing you to cast it.

As for right-clicking on the corpse - the controls are also a bit wonky. You don't actually select the "quick spell", you actually need to hover over it. At that point, all your available/applicable quick spells should pop up in a second-level menu - THEN select the talk with dead spell and left click it. If it doesn't seem to do anything just keep trying it, as the controls are very wonky...

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that only the main character can do non-combat stuff (apart from stuff done while resting, and crafting since the latest patch). So if you PC doesn't have the spell in their quiickslot, it's possible that there's no talking to dead people for you (outside of combat) - BUT since your PC is not a caster and you had the radial menu appear with a quick-spell option on a corpse, I could be wrong about this (and I hope I am) - in which case, keep trying what I wrote above, it should work eventually..

Personally I totally agree that, if it requires the PC to actually have the spell to use it, then it's a monumentally retarded design decision - but it is in-line with the general retardation of requiring the PC to do almost everything non-combat-related (except crafting and research/rest stuff). I've had to invest a few points in melee just so my PC could use a fucking crowbar to open a damn crate, since apparently my companions don't know how to use crowbars for their intended purpose... So far, this is the primary thing about this game that drives me nuts - and while going nuts may be thematically suitable, I expected that to apply to my characters in the game, and not to myself playing it...
