When I go to start a new game after choosing a character I can't click on confirm. Nothing happens. This happens whether I choose a pre made character or create a new one. This bug is in version 1.1.7 from GOG. I tested it on version 1.1.6 from GOG and it works without issue. I am playing the Linux version.

My System:

AMD FX-6100 | 16GB DDR3-1333 | MSI RX 580 8GB Gaming X | Mesa 20.3.4 | Manjaro 20.2.1 | Mate 1.24.1 | Kernel 5.10.15-1-MANJARO

keiichif found the cause for this problem. See below.

There seems to be a problem with the package 1.1.7 :

According to log, at least these files are missing :
-Prologue.bank
-Spells.bank
-UI.bank
(the last one is the main cause for the menu malfunctions)

Waiting for the next update since I just bought the game and don't have any previous installer.

edit :
After having "found" the 1.1.6 version (somewhere shady), those files are indeed missing but you also need to copy the folder "_Original" at the same place (in game/STYGIAN_Data/StreamingAssets/).

The menu works perfectly and I was able to create my character and start the game at least for the prologue.
