So, I just had a chance encounter with Carrion Dogs. I managed to fend them off until the escape route popped up and fled. The strange thing was that after the fight my Angst meter skyrockted and I got a hole level of angst, just for that encounter. I'm currently in a maniac status so that may be it, but it felt like a bug also because the screen froze and I had to reload the game to unfreeze it. Can anyone shed some light on what happened? Is it normal or is it a bug? And how do I get rid of the maniac status? Thanks.
