As of today, GOG users can download Steam Workshop items for Stronghold Warlords, as well as Space Colony and Stronghold Crusader II. Just pick your favourite method (be it external websites or the Steam commandline) and you're good to go! I know it's not the same as native support but at least we have an option now.

How exacly can i download from steam to gog.

Detris: How exacly can i download from steam to gog.
Usually for other games I use these 2 websites. Didn't test it with this game as I don't own it but according to the above user it should work
