Am I missing something? Why doesn't this game have a straightforward tutorial? A bunch of descriptions for each structure doesn't seem to help at all. All of the info that this game gives you seems so disjointed. I have no idea what to do first, second, third etc. I started out with the first campaign which is supposed to "teach you the basics", but all it does is tell you to kill a bunch of soldiers and build a granery and that's it. Nothing more. I don't get it. Is there an actual tutorial for this game, and if so, where can I find it?

There's a very basic tutorial on the main menu, you access it by clicking on the book. And to be honest, the military campaign is sort of a tutorial really, you only get a few new units and structures with each mission.
