HEy, its totally Off topic but it would be nice if someone help me :)

I just downloaded the game and this is my problem:

why the hell are on like every map these already these buildings (for producing your soldiers).
Can i somehow turn tis "mode" off`?
I dont remember it from 2008 or whenever i first played Stronghold:D
imo this "feature" or what it should be is very annoying.

So if u know what i mean i would love to hear from ur suggestion :)

Did GOG fire all the forum people?

The article was posted nearly 10 years ago, so it's probably been removed.

Why would they take down old articles? Lack of storage space?

Other way around; it's not that they took it down, it's that they never put it up. GOG has done significant overhauls to their website in the last 10 years, and probably just never uploaded some of the old stuff to the new site.
