Hello !

I'm thinking of buying those two games but I am a Linux user.
I run all my "Windows" games on Wine and most of them work 100% .

Did anyone tried to run those two games (GOG version) under Wine ? how do they run ?
(the winedb isn't too promising about those two games and I don't wanna risk it).

Graphically, they both run and play fine, but I am having some audio stuttering issues I can't nail down.

After checking the Winedb again I've decided to buy them.
So far tested the first Stronghold, finished a few levels and no problems at all, even no sound problems.

But I've heard people are having problems with multiplayer.

The audio issues only crop up in some games, and it's probably particular to my hardware.

Almost everything that relies on directplay for multiplayer is broken out of the box in wine.

Unless it's a multiplayer only game (like HoN) I'm not so interested in that function, the AI suites me fine.
