Also, is the content of Extreme incorporated in regular stronghold crusader? Doest that mean 10,000 unit cap affects all missions?

I can't imagine commanding such huge armies in this game...
The question is: can I turn off the 10,000 unit cap if I don't like it?

You get two versions of Crusader (in the same installer) with the HD update: Crusader Extreme and (classic) Crusader. The former comes with all the new-fangled, broken-balanced BS; the latter does not. There's no on-and-off switch for those features. They're merely two different executables.

Ok , and the oridinary Crusader is in HD too? Or Crusader Extreme is in HD and oridinary Crusader is in SD only? (because there is a separate installer for "classic Crusader"

If I understood you correctly, I can play standard Crusader in HD just by launching a different executable. That would be ok.

Phew, good to know that one of my favourite games from the past isn't ruined ;-)

I just played my first mission of Stronghold Crusader HD and I must say... WOW! This game looks so beautiful in high res!

I'm playing in 1440x900 and units are not too small even a bit - everything is easy to distinguish, and you can even zoom out to see almost entire map.

It's gonna be a hard night today for enemies of the Pope!
