Hey just a quick question about gameplay. How can I play a map with 2 or more castles that all start on the same level, and you have to gather supplies & build up your castle and army to try and kick each other off the map by attacking/defending. Just like in Age Of Empires scenarios, start on a map with other teams with barely any supplies, then build and attack.

Can't seem to find anyway to do this, thanks for any answers.
This kind of mode is avaible in Stronghold Crusader. When you enter Crusader campaign, there is a "custom" button or sth like that. Then you choose a map (there is plenty of them and you can download more from fansites, but they are not random), pick number of players and position on the map, and you can start playing like that.

It's not avaible for regular Stronghold. On the other hand, regular stronghold has a game mode when you attack or defend a huge, fully reinforced castle - and it's not present in Crusader.

I think it's called "Skirmish" in Crusader.
In the original Stronghold, the closest you get is summoning an invading army on a free build map, but that's it. For classic skirmish battles, you indeed need Crusader.
But what if I like normal Stronhold the most? I simply hate the desert... Isn't there a mod or something? Would also be nice with bots in multiplayer!
In the original stronghold, the skirmish game mode is multiplayer-only. The AI for skirmish mode simply didn't exist in Stronghold, and was added in Crusader.

It's one of the unfortunate parts of Crusader being stand-alone rather than an expansion pack. Both the original Stronghold and Crusader have game modes that the other lacks.
