I know that originally this was a Windows game, but have seen through the forum that people have been playing on Macs.

When I went to purchase this game, I was prompted with a note saying that this game would "NOT" work on my Mac. So I postponed buying it.

I'm running OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5.

Is this an issue? Should I download anyways and give it a go?

According to the game page: "Mac notice: The game is 32-bit only and will not work on macOS 10.15 and up."

Seems to be a standard warning about Catalina dropping 32-bit issue. If you have a previous Mac OS version the game should still work. Perhaps a Mac user will be able to confirm.
