I figure I'll just install my copy from GOG here on the other PC as well, but I'm wondering.
My copy purchased here on GOG of Stronghold Crusader says it is version 1.2. Now, I've obtained a CD version of Stronghold Crusader and installed it into the other PC, downloaded and patched it to the latest version I could find. THEN, upon trying to connect directly over LAN, the game is crashing. I was confused at first, then happened to look at the versions. And as stated, mine says 1.2, and the other is 1.1. So I figure ah well it was just a simple mistake and I went looking for the 1.2 patch. Well, everywhere I look, it states that for Stronghold Crusader, the last patch was 1.1. With the exception of Crusader Extreme I think went to 1.2. So anyways, is there really a 1.2 patch for the original Crusader game? And where can I find it? As a longshot, I attempted patching it with the Crusader Extreme patch, but it failed (as I assumed it would). Is there something I'm missing about the two different versions? Or is the GOG version only compatible with other GOG versions?

I can't give you an official position, but as far as I saw people discussing here, GOG's Crusader version is the one that comes bundled with Crusader Extreme (but it isn't Crusader Extreme mind you).
If both PCs are yours, just install your GOG version over both and play it.

Yeah I just installed it onto both PCs. Wasn't sure if there were any significant differences, but I went with the 1.2 version seeing as it would seem more up to date than a 1.1 Heh. Thanks
