The FOV slider in my video options is faded out. How do I change it?

Turn on Multiple Monitor Mode (Options -> Video Options), click Front End Size, hold your right arrow until the GUI fills the screen, hit Enter, then change your FOV. You may have to change Front End Size twice.

The Front End Size seems to have trouble sticking, so you may have to readjust it from time to time.
