Well, this is annoying. In addition to "graham is awesome!!!! according to graham at least", the Lua code is compiled. I understand this may be desirable on the Steam release so people are less likely to easily cheat for leaderboard scores, but what about here? All it's going to do is make fixing potential problems harder. I don't know how XedMod would turn out, but if it doesn't write in scripts from the mod editor, we'd have a whole lot less examples to base on. So no, Graham, you're not very awesome, and neither is T. Kiley, if any of you had anything to do with this.
I would restore the old scripts, but I don't know what's changed. So that's a conundrum.
(And yes, I can imagine the argument "but people are going to take the GOG scripts, mod them, and put them in the Steam version!" That's not my problem.)
