I was having a sound stuttering problem in some parts of the game especially in the Main Menu, some story scenes, and the strike base or other locations.

The solution for the problem for me is to open the "dosboxSC.conf" file with Notepad and find the "[CPU]" category with Ctrl+F and change the "cycles=fixed 25000" to "cycles=max" as it would use your maximum CPU resources for the emulation. After I did that, the sound stuttering is gone.

I hope it works for anyone having similar problem =D

What kind of audio device are you using?
I use Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer and got no trouble :)

I'm actually using Nvidia HD-Audio I installed from my Nvidia Graphics Driver (bundled-in) since my motherboard is already outdated for Windows 7 and I had to use that lol. Got no analog audio drivers, just digital and I can't use my old speakers and I'm using my HDTV as monitor and audio output. I am going to get a new computer soon though.

Might be because of my audio driver

Also the CPU setting that I changed from the file helps in speeding up the performance in the game's emulation =D
Might be because I'm still using Pentium 4 3.00 Ghz (2 Processors)

Now it's running smoother and more enjoyable to play :)
