Hi every time I try to calibrate my joystick it will not let me do it properly. It keeps saying I am not calibrating it properly. Only time it work is when I do it backwards. Like Right top and left bottom instead of Left top and right bottom. The game would play opposite too which make sit unplayable. Anyone else has this problem. Wing Commander games calibrate just fine. My dos box joystick info is joysticktype=auto
timed=false
autofire=false
swap34=false
buttonwrap=true
thanks
I have the same issue. Is there any way to properly calibrate joystick?
It works perfectly in all games like Wing Commander and Tie fighter.

Ok, I've got it!
I fixed it with changing joystick type in dosbox config.

joysticktype=fcs

This one works like a charm. Even the 4way view buttons work.

This didn't work for me. The game recognizes at the start that there is a joy and has to be calibrated, but in mission it's like my joystick doesn't even exist. I treid both current and old version of the game.
I have the same problem, nothing to do. Someone knows a mode to solve this?

EDIT: -->SOLVED!!! I have calibrated the joystick in windows joystick calibration panel (I have Windows 11), and it worked!<--

How did you do it? Alt+tab and calibrate or what?
