Anyone else find this game impossible to control the car? It's hard to tell where you're supposed to be going which ruins the gameplay.

Yep! I do!

Probably it would feel better with controller and there is probably some sense to map acceleration and brakes to separate buttons like separate axis (e.g. you steer with arrows but accelerate and brake with A and D). Also, I found it important to restrain myself from always having pedal to the metal. And I started to do better turns. An yep, probably jumping should be also used negotiating some turns. But I am not completely sure by now yet.

At any extend this game is a no let down, like World Rally Fever, but default control scheme has no sense in my opinion.

Did you manage to remap controls and use the gamepad properly?

I agree that it's really painful with the keyboard.
