Greetings,

i started a playthrough of the Call to arms campaign, medium difficulty.
After a reading the manual and doing some research there was one question i couldn't answer...


Is there any way to attack ships anchoring at the harbor?
Normally this is a situation where the ships are very vulnerable but it seem i can only attack the harbor while their ship can attack from the harbor...?

Hi

When you attack ships in port there is a small chance of damaging them, and upgrading your Naval Weapon upgrades will increase this chance.

The reason it's not easy to attack ships in port is that most ports would have fixed gun positions that could damage any ships that approached, with land based batteries generally being able to inflict more damage than they received.

OK, thanks...so it's best to stay away from enemy ports to avoid being shoot from "cover".
