Hello everyone!

Stoneshard looks like an interesting game that I might enjoy a lot, but I am not sure if I should get it via GoG.
There are two reasons:

1) Early Access games tend to be even more like "gambling" when bought via GoG than Steam, since in the the past some other dev companies somehow decided to neglect their GoG customers along the way and only kept their games updated on Steam (e.g. My Time in Portia, just to give an example). Can someone please tell me, if the GoG version of Stoneshard is the same as the Steam one, or rather, if both are kept up-to-date?

2) The devs of Stoneshard seem to ignore the GoG community, or at least this forum? Over the years I have learned (the hard way...) that it is a alarm signal, if devs do not respond or keep the dev-log up to date in the forum... So has someone some experience about the devs activity besides Steam?

Thank you and have a nice day ;-)

I have the same rule, if the devs don't participate on gog forums I don't buy usually. Especially in dev games, I just find it so weird that they would completely ignore.
For me the answer is still yes since my the overriding factor is DRM free offline downloads. But based on your criteria probably no.

1) So far for the main game, the GOG version is kept up to date with the steam version but the update does take longer to show up (for linux version at least)
a) There is a supporter pack on Steam (since Feb 2020) that so far has not been made available on GOG

2) I haven't noticed the devs on the GOG forum
a) The primary location for the Devs is discord though.
