Is it possible to run Still Life serie in Windows 8?

I know this is an old question, but I use W8 Pro 32bit.
Still Life 1 worked fine (haven't tried SL2 yet), but Post Mortem refused to work. I found suggested solution that worked fine - in compatibility settings check 8bit mode. Then it worked like a charm.

You may use the inofficial "still life vista patch". At least it worked for me.
