Constantly getting freeze-ups in options screen in Still Life, playing the Steam version. I am considering getting a refund and buying the GOG version instead, but *only* if anyone here can vouch they have no problems at all playing the GOG version on a Win 7 64-bit system?

This is far too late for the original poster, but for any others who may be curious: I just played through Still LIfe 1, on Win7 64-bit, with no apparent bugs whatsoever.

I ran Steam as Administrator and the game seems to run fine.
