I mean, is it that unknown? Did this few people bought it on GOG? I just finished it the other day and it's arguably one of the best games I've ever played. I mean, I know GOG forums only revolve around the Infinity Engine games, the classic Fallouts, Arcanum, System Shock 2, the Ultima series and the Wing Commander series but, come on, not a single topic discussing Stick It To The Man? Or are the forums so dedicated to troubleshooting, modding and/or tech talk, that talking about the games themselves and the experiences we have with them isn't allowed? At least people seem to have interesting discussions on the Primordia subforums, but that's the only exception I can think of...

This small vent aside, if anyone's interested in sharing their thoughts on this amazing piece of video gaming, I'd be more than willing to welcome them, read them and share my own.

I was wondering about that as well.
When it came out, I found the screenshots and videos were quite interesting, and the gameplay refreshing and full of humor. So I purchased it when there was a discount, and I enjoyed it a lot.

However, I enjoy playing games a lot more than talking about them. ;-)

There are some discussions going on on steam, http://steamcommunity.com/app/251830/discussions/
but also mostly troubleshooting related.

I bought it but didn't have time to install it yet. Very curious to check this out when time permits. Visual style reminds me of Psychonauts. The theme is also similar, "something something sticking out of your brain, everyones crazy, let's do some actiony puzzle platforming". Probably directed by same people?

Anyways, really really interesting project, definitely on my must play list.
I installed this game on monday and finished it yesterday. I will give impressions below.

It's a good game. It is fun and funny, although it doesn't attempt any deep humor that's still fine. It's kinda short but everything it attempts to do is done well. Some might not like that the characters are unidimensional (not talking about the art here), but the game isn't trying to take itself seriously so it works perfectly.

The graphics are interesting and have a charm that is hard to explain. I wouldn't think I'd like this style before I saw the screenshots. That said, some of the very detailed objects in the background blend together so much that you end up not noticing the details. Maybe some small color adjusts could make objects in the BG distinguish themselves from each other.

Audio is pretty well done too. The jazz-y soundtrack matches the mood, and the voice acting is just as cheesy as you'd find in Day of the Tentacle. It fits perfectly with the unidimensional characters.

Gameplay is kinda easy. The game gives the user a map with indicators of all the places where there is stuff you can do or someone you can talk to. As long as you keep going back and forth among the unsolved spots you'll always find the way to finish the level. There is always a checkpoint before the sections where you need to flee from the enemy agents so you never spend a lot of time to get past them. A little creativity and learning their patterns will be enough to get you through all of these sections.

For the technical side of things I don't have much to say. It is neither the most optimized game ever nor is it a memory/CPU hog. I could hear my GPU working more than it does when the game is not running but it's not like it worried me about overheating like other games did (I'm talking about you, Toren!) ^^ I'd say it is within expectations. BTW I experienced exactly zero bugs which is the ideal amount :-)

I have just one actual complaint: the control scheme could be better, at least as far as playing with my xbox controller goes. To read one's mind you have to hold one shoulder button pressed, aim with the right analog and then hit the other shoulder button to launch the psychic arm. Try doing that while you're running to use a small opportunity window given by the enemy agents' movement pattern! I don't know why it couldn't be just "aim the arm, press the first shoulder button". Whatever. It'll cost you a few attempts but it's still very doable.

So while I wouldn't call this game revolutionary, it is a very fun way to spend a few hours. It just won't make you come back every few years like a Psychonauts might do. 7.5/10
