I can't get the game to launch. I get the splashscreen and it loads to 30% and then exits. There is a dialog box with a very vague message. I made a Paradox account and linked it with GOG and Steam but that didn't help anything. Just got it last week on a giveaway from Amazon if that matters. Just the vanilla version.

have you got a 64 bit system?

also what is the path i.e, not c programs folder

I have exactly the same issue. The error message doesnt contain any information other than an error has occured. The game ran fine just a couple of months ago
