Hey, anyone know what folder mods go in for this game?

Crosmando: Hey, anyone know what folder mods go in for this game?
they go in the mods folder

DLC for this games goes in the Dlc folder and Mods are only mods that you make yourself... until you create a mod there is no folder and it displays the path once you make one (see screenshot)

Now I assume the point of this question is you want to use a mod you got online so make your own mod first... this makes the folder and shows you the path,
then just drop the online one into the mod folder

Unfortunately the mods I downloaded seem to be different, the readme they came with says this:

"HOW TO INSTALL MODS

Unpack mod folder in
C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\workshop\content\281990\

Unpack .mod file in
C:\Users\*Username*\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris\mod

Enable desired mods from the launcher, and click Play button.
Enjoy the game:)"

Workshop is a Steam thing so I'm not sure...
there is no 'workshop' or 'mod' folders in Stellaris until you make at least one mod using the game ui I showed you... the mod can be blank (just makes the mod folder) and yes workshop is a Steam only thing

it is possible to get well made mods like star trek working in gog Stellaris but it takes a little skill and is different to using Steam Stellaris... I assume most moders are looking at the gog code which is almost the same as steam
Yeah it's all cool, I just made the workshop folders and it works.

i think i may be trying to install the same mod, however i made the mod and workshop/content folders and the mod shows up in the mod directory but even after clicking it, it doesn't show up in the game
I am also having problems with the Star trek mod. When i put in .mod file into the mod folder it shows the name of .mod as descriptor mod. What can i do to fix this. I used the Steam downloader.
Ok, so I really hate the fact that you can't take systems from your vassals, it's very stupid and unrealistic, so I thought I would mod that for myself, add some modifier, and things would be fine. BUT. Idk how to edit trade :/ Can anyone help, pls?

I found those 2 lines in defines.ini:

"ACCEPTANCE_DEAL_BREAKER = -133 # This is used when something is a deal breaker in diplomacy"
"ACCEPTANCE_DEAL_ALWAYS = 1000 # This is used when the AI should always accept a deal"

First one is the problem.
Thing is, if you try to trade someone else's systems, it becomes a "deal breaker", (as it called in defines.ini), and the other side gets -1000 acceptance modifier, and all positive values are being ignored. You can't even see them. For instance, I have +8 trade acceptance for 500 energy credits, but If I add a system in demands, these +8 turns to 0. So, if something's a deal breaker (like asking for systems, I guess), all other modifiers are ignored.

This means that even if I change deal breaker value in defines.ini from -1000 to -100, it doesn't matter, cause all positive values are still gonna be ignored cause of the deal breaker, and therefore, even if I offer 500 energy, it's still gonna be -100, and not -92.

So, I need to make system-trading NOT a "deal breaker" for AI. But, I don't know wich files and wich lines affects this shit. Idk where to look :(

How does a game defines that some deal (like trading a system) is deal breaker for AI? And is it even possible to change that?

#HELP!

P.S: I'm not pretending a super-modder here, it's just that so far I was able to fix most things that I didn't like about the game, so I thought I could fix this one too, to enjoy the game more. But sadly I'm not sure how to do that :/
