Looking to see if anyone has encountered the same issue and was able to resolve it.

I installed the game but when I go to start, I get the start-up "Stellaris" screen but then another window opens and that screen goes white and locks up. I've followed every step included in the troubleshooting guide, including:

-Uninstalled and reinstalled (several times)
-Ran as "Administrator" while installing and starting
-Moved the install folder location
-Set Dep settings
-Added game to antivirus and firewall

Follow-up:

GOG was able to respond quickly and figured out it was an OEM audio program running in the background called "Nahimic". Disabling Nahimic resolved the issue. I'm posting this solution in case others have the same problem.
