Thank you for taking time to help me. I purchased Stellaris, with all the expansions, and did so with the sole intent of playing with my friends who own it in Steam.

Unfortunately, when I log into Paradox, run the game thru GoG, or even when I add it to my steam collection and run it thru there, I DO NOT SEE MY FRIENDS SERVERS and cannot connect directly either. I tried hosting, and they stay in a loop of trying to connect to me when I give them my server info.

I am located in South America. My friends are in California. I checked my firewall on Norton 360, and its allowing the game thru. What could be causing this please? Your help is very very much appreciated.

Please help me set up and run multiplayer correctly. I purchased your game with the sole intent of playing with my friends! :(

Sincerely,

Me.
UPDATE:

I tried turning off BOTH the antivirus AND the firewall from Windows AND Norton 360. This changed nothing.

I´m beginning to believe that my issue is having a "Restricted Network". Or what do you think? Why can´t I join my friends on Stellaris thru Steam?

This is something I need fixed, or i will eventually ask for a refund. Please help me.
to play multiplayer you need to be on the same server {Steam has two} and you need the same build... you say your Paradox account so did you download the Paradox build or you are using Galaxy?

if you have two builds of Stellaris on the same computer {at the same time] then that will block multi because they fight i.e, install Steam or Paradox builds = uninstall Gog Stellaris 1st
