When I launch the game, it opens to the Paradox Launcher but a red triangle is next to the play button. When I place my cursor over the triangle "Game exacutable invalid" and neither the launch or play button work.

thats nice, did you use Galaxy or the offline installer?
are you using Windows 10 or some other os?
have you got a Paradox account?
is your system running a dropbox?
