I just bought Stellaris on the Winter Sale and can't make it work. After launching the game, and clicking on the launch button, i get a black screen with any response from the game. I've tried many types of fixes that I found on the internet (launching on windowed mode, getting de AV out of the way etc.) but nothing has helped so far. I'm also aware that it might have something to do with a recente Windows Update. I would like your input on possible causes and solutions for this problem.

sounds like a slow internet... if you put the system in flight mode does it open ok?

Thanks for the aswer, but I found a solution. I simply installed it on another hard drive and it runs fine now. =)
