vv221: First you need to know that on GOG you do not buy a Linux-only copy of the game. When you buy Stellaris, you get access to all the builds: for Linux, for Mac OS, for Windows.

Here I have been playing the GOG Linux build of Stellaris for years, and in my experience I got far less problems than what I have seen reported by Windows users.

The only problem I can think of is that a couple times the Linux updates were available with a some days of delay compared to the availability of the Windows updates. But this happened only something like 2~3 times over 5 years of regular updates.
