If you are having problems with lockups on level load, starting a new game or other issues with Stellar Tactics - see the notes below.

FSecure
You must exclude the entire "Stellar Tactics" game install folder from F-secure and especially "Deepguard". The game may not launch correctly and can have numerous issues if you have this application installed.

Low framerate on Laptops
Check that your system is correctly set to use your "dedicated graphics accelerator". Many laptops come with two GPU's, one that uses low power for general desktop applications and a second dedicated game GPU (NVidia, AMD) for games. You may need to manually set your laptop to use your dedicated game graphics accelerator with Stellar Tactics.

Low framerate on Radeon
1) Radeon Settings
2) Click Gaming
3) Scroll down to Stellar Tactics and click on it
4) Change Wait for Vertical Refresh to Always Off

UI Scaling issues on 4k displays or other displays

This problem is very rare and is generally caused by your antivirus application or initialization of installed driver dependencies.
Restart your computer.
Launch GOG as an administrator (Close GOG Galaxy and then right click and “Run as administrator”)
Make sure to add an exception for Stellar Tactics in your anti-virus and malware applications and then launch the game.
If that does not work, uninstall your anti-virus application and run Stellar Tactics and see if that solves the problem. Then, reinstall the anti-virus application after running the game.
Additional steps you can take are listed below if the above does not solve the problem.

The game exits/locks up/crashes when moving between areas or when first launching the game after the first screen.
