Is the game still being developed? Does anyone know if there's any chance of fixing enemies shooting player chars from 3 rooms away through walls?
Yes, the game is still in development. The past year I have been dealing with a family illness - so, progress has been slow...

As far as shooting through walls. I'm aware that enemies can shoot through certain door frames. They are not marked as colliders in some cases and that will be dealt with. There is also an issue with targeting via muzzle tip which could result in shooting through walls. However - enemies should never be shooting through multiple walls as collision is per frame. I'll be looking into the line of sight code for the next major patch whenever that is ready.

Screenshots always help if you run across this again.

Thanks for the update! I like the game so far, so just keep doing the good work sustainably given the vicissitudes of fate. I hope things get better soon!

Regarding the bug, it's not strictly a door-frame issue. They also shoot me through the actual walls on a trajectory that doesn't pass through any doorframe, on a side with no openings. This only seems to work if any enemy has visibility of me, with sometimes interesting effects. I've attached a screenshot of it happening in a cave environment (green circle's me, red circle's where the enemy shot from, based on the text and the muzzle flash), but it also happens in station corridors.

Edit: Since the forum attachment doesn't want to cooperate, I've put the image here: https://imgur.com/a/7WQT5iG

Not to dispute the existence of this bug... but the image you provide is perhaps not the best example to show it. I've attached an edited image. Your character is standing next to some low rocks (marked in blue) separated from the attacker across a lower floor with rock formations on either side between you. However, there are two large gaps in the rock formations (marked in red) that leave an unobstructed line of site between you (marked in green). If you've ever seen a movie where someone is attacked by a sniper, you know that it's possible to be seen without being able to see the attacker, so the fact that the shooter isn't visible to you doesn't mean there isn't a line of site between you.

Again... not saying you're NOT experiencing a bug, but this isn't the best picture to make that point.

I think your impression of how that works is not really correct. I'm reasonably sure the rock formations aren't individually modelled for gaps between them to exist. It's just an impassable wall from start to finish. That's also supported by the fact that when I killed the leading enemy that actually saw me, the sniper's los vanished and they walked towards me normally. On top, as I said, this occurs in corridors as well, and while you can argue there might be minute holes in the metal rectangles composing the walls, the game's modelling sadly falls short of real life. I'll add a screenshot for that when I happen to roll those kinds of maps (I've only rolled caves of all kinds lately).

I've also run into the bug variant in the player's favor, where despite not having a valid trajectory for a grenade anywhere near an enemy, just targeting the enemy themselves lets me throw it.

Sorry to hear about this - it's understandable that such a sad event will hold other things up. It is, on the other hand, reassuring to know that you haven't decided to throw in the towel! Hope things improve and that 2025 brings you better happenings.
